The Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services (LCDES) Emergency Management is responsible for assisting municipalities within their jurisdiction in all aspects of emergency management (preparedness, response, mitigation, and recovery). The aim is to reduce the harmful effects of all hazards, both natural and man-made. The LCDES Emergency Management is currently staffed by one coordinator and two planners. Our staff is augmented with volunteers during emergency situations. County emergency management coordinators serve as the link between municipal emergency personnel and Pennsylvania Emergency Management.
To report an emergency, Dial 911. This department is not related to the 911 Communications Center and does NOT take emergency calls.
The LCDES EMA Administrative Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM unless the Emergency Operations Center is activated at which time the hours could be 24-7 depending on the emergency.
